I often take this salad to family dinners and pot-luck suppers, and when I do, someone always asks for the recipe. This is so good that your family and guests will keep coming back for more!
It is delicious and so simple to make. Here is what you will need:
2 heads of fresh broccoli
1 (2.5 oz) pkg of bacon pieces
1 medium-to-large red onion
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Directions: Start by using a food processor or manual food chopped to finely chop the broccoli and red onion.
Add the bacon pieces and cheddar cheese. Mix well and refrigerate.
Just before you serve the salad, mix up the dressing and add it to the salad. You will need 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise, 1/3 c. sugar (or 8 packages of sugar substitute), and 1/4 c. red wine vinegar. Add the dressing to the salad just before serving.
