If you love Italian food, this recipe is for you. It is inexpensive and comes together so fast that you can even serve it on a busy weeknight.
Ingredients:
16 oz. ziti
32 oz. spaghetti sauce (or use homemade)
16 oz. Ricotta cheese
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 c. parsley
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 T. Parmesan cheese, grated
1 egg, slightly beaten
Directions: Cook the ziti according to package instruction. Using a large bowl, combine cooked ziti, 1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce, Ricotta cheese, parsley, egg, oregano, garlic powder, pepper, and Parmesan cheese.
Using a 9 x 13 baking dish pour 1/2 cup of spaghetti sauce in the bottom. Spread the ziti mixture on top of the sauce. Top with the remaining spaghetti sauce and Mozzarella cheese.

Bake at 375 degrees (F) for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve with a salad and garlic toast.
NOTE: If you have a family of carnivores like I have, you can add 1 lb. of ground beef to the spaghetti sauce.
